While visiting Cartagena, I found myself at El Totumo—a small mud volcano known for its surreal, floating mud baths. As I sank into the warm, mineral-rich mud, I felt something I’d never experienced before—weightless, grounded, and completely renewed.

But what stayed with me wasn’t just the feeling—it was the people.

The villagers who care for the volcano welcomed me with warmth and pride. I learned that this natural wonder isn’t just a destination—it’s their livelihood, their tradition, and their story.

That connection stayed with me long after I left.
